Drought forum helps farmers build resilience for the future

Australian farmers have been doing it tough as a result of severe drought.

The impact of drought has been devastating for Australian agribusinesses. The Science to Practice Forum brings together the eight new Drought Resistance Adoption & Innovation Hubs, established under the Federal Government Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment’s Future Drought Fund, to discuss funding opportunities and critical research to help farmers and regional communities become more prepared for, and resilient to, the impacts of future drought events. Sign up for free face-to-face sessions in Canberra, or to log into online. The forum runs from June 29 to July 1.
